Power and Water’s portable water refilling stations are available through sponsorship arrangements for eligible community events and festivals to ensure convenient access to the Territory’s Finest on Tap.
As a partner of the Choose Tap movement, we’re encouraging everyone to value our tap water and reduce single use plastic by bringing their own bottles to refill.
To help make a difference to the lives of Territorians, the water refilling stations form part of our sponsorship program at Power and Water, whereby we choose to cover the costs of management, maintenance and logistics in order to support local community events.
We have two options to refresh your event:
Portable water refilling stations:
Our water refilling stations are available for community events and are a great way to offer access to the Territory’s Finest on Tap. There are six stations available in Darwin and Katherine and two in Alice Springs. The stations will need to be close to a tap with potable water and ideally in the shade.
Water trailer
Our trailer is available in the Darwin area only and suitable for bigger events. The water trailer has six taps and the ability to provide chilled water. The dimensions are 2 metres wide, 7.1 metres long and 2.7 metres high and needs access to power and water.

- Booking acceptance is at Power and Water’s discretion. We reserve the right to decline any booking request.
- To request the use of our portable refilling stations and/or trailer for your event please complete the application below.
- To ensure we can support as many events as possible please submit your request at least three weeks prior to your event.
- The request for the use of our water refilling stations is subject to availability.
